Lace Competition Fusello d'Oro - Offida

Fusello d'Oro Offidan lace competition takes place every year in summer since 1999; traditionally devoted to the classical Offida Lace, it is now open even to non Offidan people and lace.

Every year there's a different theme: in 2003 it was devoted to Lace fans, with two kind of competitors, under 20 and up. For the first time the Fusello d'Oro Prize (a gold bobbin) went to Gianfranca Tolloi , a non-offidan woman; even a young man, Danilo Mantova, participated with an appreciated work.

In 2006 edition, whose theme was "I want to be dressed with lace", Paola Paoletti from San Benedetto del Tronto gained the precious prize with her "Romantic seduction".
