Rachele Milano
Nocera Superiore (SA)

Rachele Milano is a young primary school teacher with a great passion for all traditional feminine works: crochet, knitting, filet lace, tatting, macramè and most of all bobbin lace.

She started learning it more than 10 years ago, thanks to a Sister and to a friend of her who made her know this beautiful art. Later on she went on learning new techniques through magazines and books, in particular the use of different threads (cotton, linen, silk).

She is a member of AMI (the association of Italian lacemakers) since 2003.

She is teaching bobbin lace in a secondary school, in an association, in a sisters' convent... and to her nice daughter.

Some articles about her works and her passion appeared in local magazines and newspapers
